There is no way to heaven,
There is no way to God,
There is no way to your heart,
People believe in heaven,
People believe in god,
And I’ll always believe in you

I know you won’t accept me,
Just the way I am,
I know you won’t understand me,
Just the way I am,
I know you won’t love me,
Just the way I am,

But I will accept that of you,
But I keep believing in you,
But I still love you,
Just the way you are,

I wish a star told you,
I wish you would believe me..

For my father, who doesn’t understand…
